Greenwood Brewing is coming to Chandler (Official Opening Date Upcoming)

"This one feels especially meaningful because Chandler is where @themegangreenwood’s brewing journey first began, back when Greenwood was just a garage setup and a homebrew kit.

Bringing our next chapter to a park-adjacent space designed for gathering, good beer, and connection feels like a full-circle moment. The new spot will feature an indoor–outdoor taproom, Greenwood beers you know and love, a thoughtful wine program, and easy ways to enjoy it all in the surrounding parks.

We’re really looking forward to becoming part of the Downtown Chandler community. More details coming soon — and we can’t wait to share this space with you!"

SEASONAL RELEASES

  • Wren House Brigid - This Irish Stout was built with a thoughtful blend of roasted and caramel malts, fermented nice and dry to let those classic flavors shine through. Expect notes of bitter roast, dark chocolate, and a touch of toffee-like smoothness, all wrapped up in a clean, easygoing finish that keeps you coming back for another sip.

  • Greenwood Brewing Harvest Diem Spiced Ale - Do you miss the seasons? We do too. With notes of cinnamon, nutmeg, allspice and ginger, this will do the trick! She’s served with a honey and cinnamon sugar rim (trust us) and is a must-sample in our taproom.

  • Fate Brewing Irish Red Ale - Malty, smooth, and easy to love

COLLABORATIONS

Wren House / Slow Body Valley Pal: Wren House Brewing Company Lager - American 4.6% ABV

When two breweries who both took home medals for American Lager at the Great American Beer Festival get together, you brew a lager. This collaboration with our friends at Slow Body Beer Co. in Tucson is a celebration of that shared obsession with clean, classic beer. Built on a base of pilsner malt with flaked corn and house-processed masa, this lager leans into tradition while highlighting a subtle nod to the Southwest. Expect a bright, crisp profile with soft grain sweetness, delicate corn character, and an ultra-clean finish that keeps things refreshing from first sip to last.

My Tasting Notes: Clean and full of flavor, tastes like a decoction brew (not sure if it is) and exactly what I would expect from the 2 awesome breweries. Clean lager snap and a bit of sweet malt and corn backbone. Finishes dry and clean. Fantastic beer!

Arizona Wilderness Evolved Hoppy Lager: Hoppy lager brewed with Evolved Supply Co. in support of the Arizona Trail Association, made with Sinagua malt and Simcoe, Wai-Itl and Riwaka hops, 5.5% ABV available 3/19

Tips for Visiting Arizona Breweries: Making the Most of Your Experience

Planning a brewery tour? Arizona has so many fantastic spots that it can be overwhelming. Here are some tips to help you get the most out of your visits:

  • Check the hours: Many breweries have limited hours or special event days. Always check their websites or social media before heading out.

  • Try the sampler flights: If you’re unsure what to order, flights let you taste a variety of beers without committing to a full pint.

  • Ask questions: Brewers love sharing their passion. Don’t hesitate to ask about the brewing process or the story behind a beer.

  • Stay hydrated and eat: Some breweries have food trucks or partnerships with local eateries. It’s smart to eat while you drink to keep your energy up.

  • Respect the space: Breweries are community hubs. Be friendly, follow the rules, and enjoy the vibe.

Whether you’re in Phoenix, Scottsdale, Tucson, or beyond, each brewery offers a unique experience. Take your time, savor the flavors, and soak in the atmosphere.
