3-Point Beer Review: STŘÍZLÍK Czech Pale Lager from Wren House

From Wren House:

One of our favorite session beers returns, this time with a couple of improvements. Střízlík is a 10 degree Czech Style Pale Lager that uses premium Czech ingredients, like 100% Whole Cone Czech Saaz hops to create a simple yet beautifully flavorful and zippy, little beer. Střízlík begins as a a 10 degree Plato pale lager built up exclusively with 100% Floor Malted Bohemian Pilsner Malt that undergoes a decoction mash to bring out this malt’s full range of balance and nuanced flavors. Think sweet Hawaiian rolls and slight nuttiness.

SOOO complex for a 3.7% ABV Beer!

I don't know, to me a 3.7% beer is generally pretty boring. Think American Macro Lagers. This boy blew my mind. So complex and layered with a whole cone Saaz hop addition that took it to the next level. Honestly, you need to get in your car and go to a Wren House location if you like Czech Pale Lager. Really I can't say enough about how excellent this beer is!
