AZ Wilderness Fresh Hop Refuge!
Fresh Hop season is back, and we’re joining the festivities with Fresh Hop Refuge!
Last month, thousands of fresh chinook hop cones were plucked off the bine @billygoathopfarm, bagged up, and driven to breweries around Arizona. Fresh hops have around 24hrs before they lose their potency and natural oils, so our brew team acted quickly and dumped 300lbs of fresh chinook into our batch of Refuge, imbuing it with fresh oils and acids.
The finished products is a hop BOMB! The brew comes in at the classic 6.8% ABV, is bright and vibrant, has notes of fresh citrus, and still sports a fairly balanced malty backbone. MORE
