HopFWD is a Belgian lager built around an experimental hop from Yakima Chief Hops: HBC 1134, a US-cultivated take on the classic Saaz hop. Developed to thrive in US growing climates, HBC 1134 offers the familiar character of traditional Saaz with a little more intensity.
Expect layers of pepper, fresh herbs, spice, floral aromatics, and earthy hop character woven through a crisp, clean lager. This variant of the HopFWD program explores what a distinctly American-grown version of one of Europe’s most iconic noble hops can bring to a Belgian lager. 5.0% ABV
