AZ Wilderness Supports Wildland Firefighters
Today marks 13 years since the Yarnell Fire, when 19 Granite Mountain Hotshots gave their lives protecting Arizona.
This anniversary feels especially heavy after the recent loss of three more wildland firefighters, as the West faces one of its most challenging fire seasons in years. It’s a reminder that the people who put themselves in harm’s way for our communities continue to need our support.
